Telecom Business Review: Selection Methodology

Program Objective

The “Top Telecom Solutions & Service Providers” and related recognitions by Telecom Business Review identifies organizations driving innovation across the global telecommunications landscape. They cover infrastructure and engineering partners specializing in areas such as antenna systems, optical fiber, and network construction, alongside providers delivering OSS/BSS platforms, network security, and advanced connectivity solutions. We also recognize specialized firms offering enterprise communication services, expense management, automation, and consulting support. By evaluating organizations on scalability, operational excellence, and service reliability, we feature leaders enabling seamless connectivity and advancing digital transformation for both major carriers and modern businesses.

The Selection Framework

Our research team, in collaboration with the Telecom Business Review Editorial Board, an external panel of industry peers, analysts and subscriber-driven nominations, employs a Telecom Solutions and Services Value Index to identify and recognize companies delivering exceptional value to the telecom industry. Subscriber input plays an important role in the process, highlighting companies that professionals across the industry would recommend to their peers, choose for their own organizations or regard as best-in-class within their domain.

Nominees are scored on a scale of 1–100 across the following four criteria:

Telecom Relevance and Deployment Fit (30%)
Assessment focuses on how effectively a provider aligns with telecom operator priorities such as network rollout, capacity expansion, service assurance and evolving connectivity use cases across enterprise and consumer segments.

Execution in Live Network Environments (25%)
The editorial board examines the ability to deliver reliably within active telecom networks where uptime, performance consistency and minimal service disruption are critical to operator trust and continuity.

Operational Impact and Service Performance (25%)
Scoring considers measurable outcomes such as improved network efficiency, reduced downtime, enhanced service quality or streamlined operations across telecom service delivery environments.

Market Confidence and Operator Endorsement (20%)
Strong candidates demonstrate sustained credibility through operator relationships, repeat engagements, subscriber nominations and evidence that telecom professionals regard them as dependable long-term partners.
