Digicos has been recognized by Telecom Business Review Magazine as the exclusive recipient of “Top Telecommunications Infrastructure Services in Poland 2025,” based on our proprietary methodology, reflecting its position in the industry. This profile has been developed by the Telecom Business Review research and editorial team based on insights from an interview with Mariusz Plaskota, Chairman of the Board.
Mariusz Plaskota, Chairman of the BoardIn the fast-paced and complex field of telecommunications, trust isn’t earned overnight.
Credibility comes from years of showing up, solving problems, and delivering exactly what’s promised. For Digicos S.A., a Poland-based engineering services company led by Mariusz Plaskota, trust is the foundation of everything it does.
Founded in 1997, Digicos has quietly built a reputation for being precise, reliable, and deeply knowledgeable about every stage of telecom infrastructure development—from site acquisition and construction to equipment installation and preventive maintenance. Today, it has grown into a trusted partner for Poland’s major mobile network operators, not because of its size, but because of its relentless attention to detail.
“There’s a real advantage in being small,” says Plaskota, chairman of the board. “We’re agile. We don’t get bogged down in endless chains of command. Decisions are made quickly, responsibilities are clear, and we can respond to our clients almost instantly.”
Agility is especially important today, as telecom networks face growing demands for uninterrupted operation and constant upgrades. One of the biggest challenges in the industry, Plaskota explains, is visibility: companies need to understand the real-time state of their infrastructure. Fixing issues is just the starting point for Digicos; the real value lies in helping clients stay one step ahead and avoid curveballs.
The company’s foresight culminates in an integrated approach to handling the full investment cycle, from scouting and acquiring telecom sites to managing construction and equipment installation and finally ensuring long-term site health through scheduled inspections. The full-spectrum service model ensures that clients can rely on one partner throughout the entire process—one who knows the site intimately and can move fast if issues arise.
One of the most critical pieces of Digicos’ work is preventive maintenance. By law, telecom structures in Poland must be inspected at least once a year. The company takes this a step further by tailoring each inspection to client-specific checklists and compiling detailed reports on everything from structural geometry to the condition of anti-corrosion coatings and safety systems. These inspections give clients insight into network health and whether future upgrades are needed.
This has already paid off in Digicos’s long-standing partnerships. The company's relationship with mobile operators in Poland has lasted for years through consistent delivery, acquisition, construction, integration, and maintenance, all handled under one roof.
Looking ahead, the company is taking a bold step into the future with a robotics-based inspection and maintenance project. In partnership with Wrocław University of Science and Technology, it plans to co-develop a robotic system designed to inspect and service telecom facilities. The system includes two robots: one capable of climbing structures for visual and sensor-based inspections, and another designed to maintain guy wires, applying anti-corrosion treatment and cleaning as needed. The three-year initiative, backed by EU funding, could redefine how telecom sites are maintained, making the process faster, safer, and less reliant on manual labor in hazardous conditions.
For Plaskota, it’s a natural evolution. Digicos has always been about finding better ways to serve its clients—quicker, smarter, and with more clarity. In a world where telecommunications must operate flawlessly and evolve constantly, that mission feels more important than ever.
