The CRTC’s Broadband Fund remains a major driver. The fourth call for applications is open until August 13, 2026.
This creates ongoing demand for fiber infrastructure service providers that can manage difficult builds. The CRTC has already allocated about $769 million to broadband projects that serve more than 54,000 homes across more than 320 communities.
