Lightpath's whole network has been upgraded utilizing the newest Ciena and Cisco technologies, including the Massachusetts market. These next-generation network capabilities include unrivaled dependability, security, and service options, such as optical transport services at speeds up to 800 Gbps. All Lightpath clients in Massachusetts have access to the entire Lightpath network, which spans over 18,000 route miles and connects over 12,000 locations across the New York Metropolitan Area.

As operators roll out their Open RAN networks, demand for regionally customized O-RUs to suit frequency band and power requirements is growing. The O-RU is one aspect of the network that cannot be virtualized, and with the growing demand for commercial-ready frequency bands and power alternatives, network operators' options are limited. The Garuda radio product line from STL increases the market for O-RU devices over the world.
