Our focus is on working with all the major carriers to help them achieve their goal of rolling out 5G in its entirety over the next three to five years
Laser-focused on supporting carriers in their 5G rollout efforts, Reel envisions becoming a leader in the 5G rollout space. On this note, the Company is currently assisting T-Mobile— one of the major telecommunication carriers in the U.S.—in their 5G rollout initiative through the acquisition of Sprint Corporation. “Our focus is on working with all the major carriers to help them achieve their goal of rolling out 5G in its entirety over the next three to five years,” remarks Neal Noel, Vice President of wireless division, Reel. That’s not all; Reel is concentrating its efforts on providing various power services like tower upgrades, installing building automation systems (BAS), and supporting its customers with site integration services. Apart from working with major carriers and government entities, Reel has signed contracts to deploy fiber networks throughout rural America. For city deployments, the Company is working on connecting power systems to meters and back to substations through fiber networks to enable remote meter reading.
Specialized in telecommunications construction, Reel increasingly prioritizes safety, quality construction, and technology—the perfect trio that steers the Company ahead of the market competition. Reel has a proven track record of zero accidents over the past few years owing to its highly effective safety management program and oversight. Reel ensures that it checks all the boxes when it comes to maintaining the highest construction standards to deliver quality infrastructure. As different carriers leverage different technology, Reel stays abreast of all the latest technologies on the market. The Company has also developed a web portal through which its employees, project managers, and customers can view job sites remotely. By photographing all the events in the field and posting them on the portal, Reel enables daily reporting and keeps its customers informed.
As a testament to Reel’s service that is defined by unsurpassed quality standards, Noel cites one of their recent projects—the construction of a T-Mobile site located under a water tower in Cleveland, Ohio. He explains that upon completion, every project is reviewed by the carrier. To this end, T-Mobile delegated one of their quality control (QC) personnel to check the construction quality and ensure that all the technologies are leveraged and connected in the right way. When the QC personnel conveyed how incredible Reel’s service has been in the construction of the new site, it was a moment of sheer pride for the Company. “The QC personnel holds over eight years of experience working with T-Mobile in the Ohio market, and he reached out to us to inform that the site we have built was second to none in terms of quality,” proudly mentions Noel. Reel’s unwavering dedication to delivering the highest quality service is what allowed it to build the site on time and within budget.
Not being a one-dimensional company, Reel is focused on the communications industry as a whole. Reel has set its sight on positioning itself as a key carrier-neutral construction company in the communications space with a keen focus on 5G technology. Reel also aims to partner with companies opting for private networks to develop, build, and deploy the network for them.
